The short answer is No. It is not an option. I've never heard of such a requirement before. But if you want to do it one solution would be to patch the SubmitIssue() method and somewhere towards the end you call the subscribe function (whatever that was called) with the email address you want to subscribe with. Is it possible to have Issue Tracker send all changes, including followups, to the people on the always notify list? Currently only new issues are sent to them, but I'd like every change to be sent without them having to subscribe to every issue. Robert |

I've noticed that the creation time of the items in the issue tracker are incorrect (or at least are being displayed incorrectly), e.g. I just created a followup at 10 Aug 2007 11.05pm and the web page says the creation date was 10 Aug 2007 09:05 I've set the locale in zope.conf to 'en_AU.UTF-8' and also datetime-format to 'international' to no effect. Is there some way to get the date/times in Issue Tracker to reflect the correct locale/timezone? Robert |

I'm trialling Issue Tracker for use in a small team and so far it is exceeding expectations! I have it setup *almost* exactly how I want it, with one outstanding problem and that is to do with followup via email. It may be that I'm misunderstanding something or have misconfigured something but I cannot get Issue Tracker to send an email to the people subscribed or already involved in an issue when someone responds to a followup via email. The response is added to the issue as a followup, which is great, but no email is sent out to inform the other people that an additional followup has been added, which is not so great, as it means the issue cannot be followed by email only, it requires people to login and check the web interface to see if any followups have been added. Have I missed something? Hi Samir, The best approach is to write a monkey patch. You override two methods to begin with. 1) You override the AddIssueTemplate something like this: from Products.IssueTrackerProduct.IssueTracker import IssueTracker setattr(IssueTracker, AddIssueTemplate, PageTemplateFile('your/copy/of/AddIssue.zpt', globals())) 2) Override the SubmitIssue() method in your monkey patch. Copy all the code from IssueTracker.py and start adding stuff for your own fields. Patch it in like this: from Products.IssueTrackerProduct.IssueTracker import IssueTracker setattr(IssueTracker, 'SubmitIssue', YourOwnSubmitIssueFunction) A lot of people have been asking the same question. Perhaps it's time I write something more robust for all people to be able to do this. I'm busy on another project at the moment so don't expect any quick results I'm afraid. If you stay on the list there are plenty of other people who will be able to help you when you get stuck. Spend some time on this: http://www.issuetrackerproduct.com/Documentation/How-Tos/monkey-patching and see how far you get. Several people here on this little list have experience with monkey patching but if you get stuck with this list you can subscribe to the general Zope mailing list where there's plenty of experts. Hello, I have a an issue with Issue Tracker that I would like to ask about: I've changed the status (Properties/Advanced/Status) for the instance of IT that I am using. I've changed to: Built, Build Reworked, Rework ESO Readied, Make ESO Ready Completed, Complete On Hold, Place On Hold Rejected, Reject And, when I look at the index page of my instance, I see the new status in the status bar with the correct count of issues with the respective status. However, when I click on the status to get a list of all the items with that status, I get nothing instead of getting the list of issues with that status. Any help in getting this fixed is appreciated. Thanks Eric |
