I, too, am looking for a tool that will ease my use of both MySQL and Oracle databases. I have noticed a number of projects that have been abandoned. Not having ever started my own project, I can only imagine that it is a lonely, frustrating, and thank-less task.
Is your project/tool going to continue to be pursued? Or have you gone on in Life?

Nope i am still kicking, I actually should be releasing a new version early next week if all goes well. Version 3.0 doesn't have as many features as 2.1.8 however much more user-friendly and lots of good stuff under the hood to make it more stable and reliable then 2.1.x series.
So be patient i am working as hard as i can. I know i haven't been very active however it is hard doing just about everything for this project.

Actually there are a few keyboard shortcuts that do it for you and have always been there.
Ctrl+Enter for linux/windows or CMD+Enter for Mac to execute the query. I do have some of the other little tricks on executing queries in my users guide at http://www.isqlviewer.com/help.html#TOC10800

That URL will be a nice help. In my previous note, I meant to say that I downloaded 3.0.1, but the title bar says 3.0.0. Did I get the wrong version by mistake? or is that just a display anomaly?

I downloaded 3.0.0,but the title bar say 3.0.0. Anyway, how do you RUN a command once you enter it? I don't see that button anymore.

Yeah it is bug; the 3.0.1 shows as 3.0.0. That will be fixed in upcoming releases.
