(Posted this in Help as well)
I set up a schedule on the PTZ tab .
1. Unable to change (and retain) the default number of seconds to, say, 600. The program allows entry, but does not retain it. Always goes back to 60 seconds.
2. I have version 7.2 1. 0, hooked to two very generic foreign IP cameras. All functions (recording, PTZ, zoom, etc) work well (ONVIF). Doing TimeLapse recording with storage management.
3. On the PTZ tab, click Schedule, set a Schedule to run every day : (NOTE: the program has a small bug - when you add a schedule in the PTZ tab, "Sat" shows up as "dowmat" - reported.) Basic schedule with 4 preset positions set up. I wanted to run this every 15 minutes, rotating between positions and repeating every hour.
4. On the Camera Schedule tab, add command to turn PTZ Scheduler On.
5. Apply schedule - Time lapse works flawlessly. The "tour" I set up for the camera never runs.
6. Tried this on 2 completely different cameras, same result.
I may be asking a newbie question, but I did not find any answers online- what hierarchy does iSpy follow, if any?
By that, if you want to torture your camera (and yourself) so you set it for Motion Detection, Object Tracking, Grabs, Time Lapse, etc. What service wins?
Since I am using Time Lapse (which is a great feature, btw) I wanted to add a "tour" of my video recorded area. This combo gives me exactly what I want to monitor.
Thanks,
Greg
