Mac OS X Catalina
IBM Rational Developer for i Version: 9.6.0.7
Trying to install iSphere for RDi 9.5+ 3.6.2 from Eclipse Marketplace, and have selected only the three following features to install:
Am getting the following message:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software currently installed: IBM Software Delivery Platform 2020.3.10.124850 (IBM Software Delivery Platform com.ibm.sdp.eclipse.ide 2020.3.10.124850)

What is the solution for this issue?

Hi Wayne,
It seems that this is the same issue that I have been asked about by Mike Hockings (IBM) 3 days ago.
Unfortunately I have no idea what the root cause is. iSphere does nothing special and is a plug-in as every other plug-in of RDi.
Do you have that problem only with iSphere or also with other plug-ins?
Did you already try to install or update iSphere using the archived update site that you can download from the iSphere project page at SourceForge?
Unfortunately I do not own a Mac and hence cannot test anything for Mac computers.
Last but not least it might be worth a try to post the problem to the WDSCi-L mailing list. There are some people who use a Mac, e.g. Jon Paris.
Regards,
Thomas.
I was getting that same error unless I ran RDi as root. I'm on a Mac and I
would have to run it from the shell ("sudo ./ExecuteScript" in the
application area)
I finally fixed it by updating the authorities in the
/Applications/IBM/SoftwareDeliveryPlatform path. (sudo chmod -R 775 *)
Hi Matt,
Thank you very much for your contribution. I wonder what Wayne and Mike will say.
Regards,
Thomas.
