I am using Java 1.8.0_161 on Windows 7, communcating with an iSeries running V7R1. I have installed the latest iSphere library on the iSeries.

    I'm getting this as well.
I'm currently using 3.2.3.r with RDi 9.6.0.1 on Windows 7 Enterprise, with Power 8 running 7.3.

Could you please check the Eclipse error log for entries related to the problem and, if available, export the log and send it to me? Perhaps you can clear the error log before trying to reproduce the problem so that there are not that much entries.

Do other iSphere functions, such as the "Binding Directory Editor" or the "Message File Editor" work? That my help to sort out some possible reasons for the error.

Do you use Kerberos authentication and did you set property "Use iSphere JDBC connection manager" on the iSphere "Library" preference page?
