#134 Journal Explorer: CTD when filtering large dataset

I'm using Journal Explorer to browse through a journal output file containing 67,000 entries from a single file.

When I attempt to apply a filter using one of the fields, it causes RDi to crash to desktop - no error messages, nothing.

Most likely that is an Out-Of-Memory problem. I certainly will check that to find out whether or not I can improve memory management. But at the there is no infinite memory, unfortunately. That is why I added the Maximum number of journal entries to retrieve option on the iSphere preferences page.

But, in case your PC has enough memory, you may try increasing the following values in eclipse.ini:

-Xms512m
-Xmx2048m

You may also enable option Show heap status to see the size of memory used by RDi.
