Isobel is actually designed to do gathering and
analysis of huge collections of data.

No problem at all, integration can be achieved through
soap or xml/rpc

That's what isobel is meant for, by the way, what is
not clear to me is the kind of analysis you need.
Of course time depends on the analysis task you
perform on text.

Can you explain in more detail what are your
requirements/expectations ?
