#40 SQLGetPublisher returns list("unknown") if it fails to find a publisher

SQLGetPublisher returns list("unknown") if it fails to find a publisher. It should return an empty string instead. Note that this function is called from a variety of modules, which will need to be reviewed and possibly adjusted to account for any changes.
