#84 Series merge
Allow, from a series display page, or perhaps also from an advanced search on series, an editor to merge with another series, probably by series ID number. As with title merges, the editor would be given a choice of title and parent series to retain. All works that are part of either series would become part of the mreged series when the merge was approved.
This would be a way of dealing with duplicate series, but more importantly of dealing with cases where separate series had been created for parts of what should be the same series. This could be done now by individually editing each title record and changing the series field, but that can be quite tedious if there are many titles involved. -DES

Generally supported during the last Wiki discussion (http://www.isfdb.org/wiki/index.php/ISFDB:Community_Portal#More_Series_options.3F), but we need to decide on the implementation details first.
