Now that Bug 3520889 has been fixed, the logic chooses the first non-empty value as the default. This is OK for most fields, but for dates real dates should take precedence over "0000-00-00" dates. Similarly, YYYY-MM-00 dates should be preferred to YYYY-00-00 dates.

For the "storylen" field, "ss", "nv" and "nt" should be preferred to "sf".
