Create user-specific watch lists of publications. Any ISFDB user should be able to add a publication record to his or her watch list (or remove a publication from the watch list.) Every time a watched publication is updated, it will appear on the user's list of watched publication. The functionality should be similar to what we already have for primary verified publications.
Original Wiki request:
The only way to monitor a publication for changes is to verify it. However, if you are working on a specific language, series or authors, you may want to monitor changes even in the books you cannot technically verify. One option is to Transient verify it but I think that this is stretching the definition too much - either you have the complete book on your e-device or on your desk or it does not count. So how about adding a third verification/monitoring option that triggers the "publication changed" functionality but without being treated as a verification in any other way (adding a green checkmark in the verified column in lists or requiring a notification for bigger changes).
