#567 A review with an empty author causes NewPub submissions to error out
A review with an empty author causes NewPub submissions to error out at submission approval time. It's not clear how the empty author gets added to the submission since they are supposed to be filtered out at submission creation time. See submission 2661040 for an example, specifically the review of "Phaid the gambler", which reads:

The bug has been recreated on the development server. It turns out that pubClass strips leading and trailing spaces first, then calls XMLescape in setBookAuthors and setReviewers. By then it's too late since an author name consisting of all spaces will already exist as an empty author name.
Fixed in common/pubClass.py 1.25, installed in r2015-066 on 2015-03-09. Closing.
