The alphabetical bibliography for an author lists all variants of a title as separate titles, but without any notation indicating that they are the same. (I think this is a change from the past, and may have been introduced by some other coding change.) For example, the alphabetical listing for "Elizabeth Stuart Phelps" includes among her short stories:
In the Gray Goth (1869)
In the Gray Goth (1869)
Kentucky's Ghost (1868)
Kentucky's Ghost (1868)
Kentucky's Ghost (1868)
The Gray Goth (1869)
even though those entries only represent two stories. This duplication is, of course, listed as variants in the summary bibliography and in the chronological bibliography, but not in the alphabetical bibliography.
