Publication and title dates are not fully validated on the Edit Pub and Make Variant pages. This allows invalid dates like "2012-06-44" to be submitted which then results in Python error and inconsistent data between database tables. We need to centralize all date handling/validation.

Fixed in common\pubClass.py 1.15, titleClass.py 1.7, library.py 1.20 , installed in r2012-15.
