Serial records are not sorted chronologically on the Title page, e.g. Ray Cumming's "The Man on the Meteor" (http://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cgi?1018277) lists the related Serial records in the following order:

Apparently, the lexical match display logic alphabetizes Serial titles without paying attention to dates. This is likely to change once we convert Serial to VTs, but we need to make sure that the end result sorts by date first and by title second.

A similar problem existed on the Summary page. This is fixed by the commits of common/SQLparsing.py 1.23 (for SQLgetAuthorVariants, used in the Summary page) and 1.24 (for SQLgetTitleVariants, used in the Title page). The queries were unsorted; added primary sort by title_copyright and secondary sort by title_title (helps serials when all installments have the same date; this breaks down when there are 10 or more installments, but it's better than nothing).
Implemented in r2009-22.
