This patch may be applied against the iSCSI Enterprise Target source package version 0.4.17 to eliminate the dependency on OpenSSL for the MD5 and SHA1 functions. The hash functions are borrowed from GNU's coreutils 6.12 and placed within the iscsitarget source tree.
