I set my screensaver to lock the keychain. When I unlock the screen (which doesn't unlock the keychain) iScrobler asks me to type my password again to unlock the keychain, even if iTunes is not playing and there are no tracks to submit.

It should keep quiet and only ask for keychain access when I start playing tracks.

This has only started happening sine I upgraded to the lastet version.

Yes, this is happening for me as well. It's quite a hassle, as it means one has to type one's password twice. I also suspect that the dialog box stops my laptop from sleeping properly sometimes.

    Thanks,
    James

Pity with all the new features in the latest version this bug is still not fixed. Here is a simple workaround (tested on 10.4.11):

    1. Open Keychain Access and create a new keychain. Name it 'Insecure' to remind you not to store anything important in it. Give it a password.
    2. Go to 'Edit > Change Settings for Keychain "Insecure"...'. Turn off 'Lock after X mins' and 'Lock when sleeping'. This should ensure the keychain stays unlocked.
    3. Find your iScrobbler keychain item in your login keychain and drag it into the 'Insecure' keychain.

When you wake your mac from sleep, unlocking the screen still doesn't unlock your login keychain. Since iScrobbler's data is stored in the Insecure keychain which isn't locked when your mac sleeps, it can access your password straight away and won't bug you for it.
