#22 "invalid protocol" less than clear

Eventheap says "invalid protocol?" sometimes. It says
this when you send it encrypted packets, it may say this
when your reverse DNS is not working, it says it when
the client iros.jar file differs from the server iros.jar file.

A better result would be a message something like:
1) client message cannot be understood at all, or
2) reverse DNS failed for this client, or
3) the version of the client protocol (1.15) does not
match the server version (1/16).
