I searched and searched the email archives trying to find info
that would help me but didn't quite find what I was needing.
Working on a driver for an unsupported IrDA chip under linux
and can't seem to figure out how to test the FIR mode.
Thought it would be good to try with a working driver
first to get the process nailed down.
So what I try is:
irattach irda0 -s
I see from dmesg that speed switches over to 9600 to
negotiate but then it doesn't seem to set at 4Mpbs.
I'm not sure what else to try and/or check. For SIR,
used ppp (which was fine for slower speed) but that
as well as minicom, kermit doesn't support higher
speeds (well kermit might on linux but not on win xp)
Tried both linux to win xp and linux to linux.
Would appreciate if anyone could give me some pointers
and/or links. I want to figure this out as fast as I
Thanks for any help you can give, appreciate much!
