I recently got a Infrared serial dongle (don't know the model)
How do I detect which dongle it is and load the appropriate module ? Is
there something like findchip for serial dongles.?
I tried the hard way of loading a driver, calling irattach and then
irdadump to see if it's receiving packets - but can't seem to get it
working with Linux 2.6.10 with any of the available modules. Is there a
simpler way. ?
