Well I still can't get minicom to work with ircomm0 but at least I can
get gnokii to work with ircomm0. This was after I mounted the usbfs.
mount -t usbfs none /proc/bus/usb
Once this was done all my usb devices appeared and like magic gnokii was
working with ircomm0! I have the usbcore compiled into the kernel.
I am happy to call it magic!
