I try this steps but nothing:

1. Install and configure the software:

apt-get install lirc lirc-modules-source linux-headers-$(uname -r) kernel-package
m-a update,prepare
dpkg-reconfigure lirc-modules-source
"select just serial"
m-a a-i lirc
dpkg -i /usr/src/lirc-modules-*.deb
modprobe lirc_serial
/etc/init.d/lirc restart

2. When I run the command and I press the buttons there is no data:

irrecord -H default -d /dev/lirc0 /tmp/lircd.conf
irrecord: no data for 10 secs, aborting
irrecord: gap not found, can't continue

What can I do?

Thanks again

Thanks for the links, but I didn't search any information bout LIRC configuration with serial driver. I search this information:

# cat /proc/tty/driver/serial
serinfo:1.0 driver revision:
0: uart:unknown port:000003F8 irq:4
1: uart:unknown port:000002F8 irq:3
2: uart:16550A port:000003E8 irq:4 tx:0 rx:0 CTS|DSR|CD|RI
3: uart:unknown port:000002E8 irq:3

Is it the IR device? I am lost on this item.

Anyone can help with this?

Thanks again and best regards.
