>> Another person volunteered to help yesterday, so the team might expand again in a few days... Hello :) I, Jasmeet Sidhu, would be that other person who volunteered. I've been following the development for a while now and lost track after no developments happened for quite a while. I had done something similar as this tool entirely in Perl. I think I still have that code somewhere, but I want to focus all my efforts on this tool as it is obviously a much better solution. I've looked over the TODO.txt file, and I guess I should only look at things in the 2.0 section? IrcLeech 2.0 -------------------- 01) UI polishing (making things more intuitive, using more popup menus, anything to improve usability and the look and feel of the application) 02) new options dialog (DONE: implemented by Jacob) 03) improved downloads functionality: 03.1) pausing downloads 03.2) prioritized downloads 03.3) opening completed downloads from within the application 04) improved filters functionality: 04.1) filter management: filters will be created/edited in a separate dialog window 04.2) expand filtering features: filters on multiple fields 04.3) keyword/regex search to search within the current filter's results 05) checking for updates 06) error reporting service What would be, in your opinion, the most desirable feature of the above? Any of you guys have any documentation? Maybe some notes? Basically looking for a shortcut to get up to speed.. :-| Anyhow, I look forward to contributing to this project. -Jasmeet Sidhu <jsidhu_at_loancity.com> -----Original Message----- From: Davy Brion [mailto:ra...@gm...] Sent: Wednesday, November 10, 2004 10:54 AM To: irc...@li... Subject: [Ircleech-devel] new developer Guys, i'd like to introduce the newest member of our development team: Sisongkham Pakdymanivong. For the past few days he's been sending me performance enhancements for the IrcLeechCore library and he asked if he could join the development team, so here he is :) Man... IrcLeech went from a one man project to a team of 4 people in less than a month and i didn't even have to ask for your help :) Another person volunteered to help yesterday, so the team might expand again in a few days... ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Sybase ASE Linux Express Edition - download now for FREE LinuxWorld Reader's Choice Award Winner for best database on Linux. http://ads.osdn.com/?ad_id=5588&alloc_id=12065&op=click _______________________________________________ Ircleech-devel mailing list Irc...@li... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ircleech-devel |
