#3 searchfield erases filter

If I set a filter, and like to do further filtering, so
I add something to the filter, I have to press refresh
packages do run it. However, this set's the filter
preset to my custom search string, so it get's erased.
This is unwanted behaviour. Better would be to add an
option edit filter, and this would overwrite the filter
preset and all other modifications in hte 'search for'
input field would leave the filter preset alone
