Point Spread Function (PSF) Analysis Tool
Hi, I am trying to investigate numerous test objects under general diagnostic X-ray (mammography) and I am attempting to use the PSF analysis tool for generating a 2D MTF. However I am uncertain as to how exactly IQWorks v0.7.2 does this? The options under the PSF properties are: "Vertical", Horizontal" or "ALL". The first two seem self explanatory but I would like to know more about how exactly the PSF function is determined. Is it the result of multiple measurements at small angle increments? If so, at what angle spacing? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
