Hi, first off if this isn't the best place to ask for help please redirect me.

I am using the ipw2200-ap driver on a IXP425 platform. I am having some problems with my windows XP laptop, I can see the SSID of the ipw2200, but when I click on it I cannot connect to it. I am not running any security at all. One thing I saw that was curious is the output of iwconfig eth2

    eth2      IEEE 802.11g  ESSID:"HD-STAREAST-AP1"
              Mode:Master  Channel:11  Access Point: 00:00:00:00:00:00
              Bit Rate:0kb/s   Tx-Power=20 dBm
              RTS thr:off   Fragment thr:off
              Encryption key:off
              Power Management:off
              Link Quality:0  Signal level:0  Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0  Rx invalid crypt:0  Rx invalid frag:0
              Tx excessive retries:0  Invalid misc:0   Missed beacon:0

Also, if i leave the driver up for a while I see this error.

I encounter the same problem now. I have loaded all the drivers and firmwares to a ixp425 platform. The linux is ucLinux 2.6.12.
Who can tell me how to make my board work as an AP? Many thanks!
