Project Roadmap

Version 1.1

Target: January 1, 2016

• Phone device groups - will allow event actions targeted towards a saved list of devices
• Load list of audio files (Ringtone list) from server to present drop down instead of free entry
• Enable adding icon devices to display in status bar (on/off) and event type to turn on and play sound
• Allow device filter based on location of requesting device - only show devices with a matching location
• Provide alternative authentication back-end for cases where it does not exist in environment (CME)

Version 2.0

Target: March 31, 2016

• Support for HomeSeer 3

Version 2.1

Target: October 1, 2016

• Remote control of phone devices - provide ability for user to view screen and press buttons
• Support for multiple thermostats in Climate screens - configure in each screen instead of global config
• Plugin support for weather alerts - when triggered present notification and sound
• Screen themes - provide layout / style options based on user preference

Feature Requests

The following features have been planned for the plugin, but have not been committed to any release yet:

• Optional per-device default screen that will load instead of index when no screen specified (use dev value?)
• Clear screen when starting to dial a number (is it even possible?)
• Clear screen when inbound call ringing so display is visiable (exit or minimize application)
• Option to restrict displaying screens to devices that exist in Homeseer (today any device can load screens)
• Quick message function - allow plugin to send on-demand message to a phone, group, or all phones
• Create functions to use MISC_SETSTATUS_NOTIFY and MISC_SETVALUE_NOTIFY MISC bit settings to update phone
