#4 linux freezes while booting

I just tried the last version of ipodlinux-installer (1.1)
It seems to correctly install; when rebooting with linux,
it starts, does a series of modprobe and then freezes.
The last readable output is the following:

ipod_1394: $Id:tsb3aa82.c,v 1.5 2004/05/17 18:22:13
leachbj Exp $

More infos: the iPod is a third generation one, with
a 2.2 firmware

This seems to be an iPodLinux issue. Please go to
http://ipodlinux.sf.net for further support. If I remember
right, there is already a thread discussing this issue.
