That is great news!  Unfortunately, though, I cannot get the kernel to
compile on my XP machine(before or after your changes).  If you have a
minute, could you send me(cohmapapp aaaaaaaattttttt gmail
ddddddddddoooooooottttt com) a binary version of the kernel with your
changes?
