The PP5020 should not be too big a problem, infact it should mean Linux runs somewhat better on the iPod (and the USB on-the-go possibilities are quite cool too). The real sticking point is that the 4g shares the new firmware image format that was introduced with the mini. Sofar this has not been reverse enginered and so we can't run custom applications (e.g. the linux kernel) on these models.
