[Ipodlinux-devel] Kernel Boots - BASH shell only

I got the kernel to successfully boot, however, it only boots into a BASH shell, I am guessing this is because there are no apps to boot, but how do I install apps? Does someone have an "rc" directory or the filesystem all together that they could gzip and send me? I can't seem to troubleshoot the one available on the sourceforge area...thanks!
