Bernard,

Sorry, you kinda lost me there. I have compiled the bootloader and kernel on
gcc 2.9.x before, but now i am changing distro's from Debian to Gentoo and i
was wondering if GCC 3.3 (iirc) would work for compiling all the stuff.

According to Jeff it should, do you agree?
