Hi Mathieu, it looks like the audio for 2g and 3g are fairly similar but I've yet to find the exact magic that makes the audio output work. I've just started working on a simpler test program that should help sort it out. Just need to find the time to hack on it. THe firewire kernel panic is a known problem. Just don't boot linux with it plugged in ;) Its still low on my priority list but if this Audio stuff starts working soon then maybe I'll get a chance to look at it. cheers, bern.
