   Would it be possible to just take the two data lines of a standard 
10-BT cable and hook them to the data lines of an FW cable (probably 
with some voltage regulators in their to match voltage/impedance)  It 
wouldn't be IP-over-FW, but could the FW chip be forced to work with 
the standard 10-BT electrical protocol?
