Hi Gilles, Unfortunately you can't. The closest you can do is to boot to disk-mode which may use a little less power than in Linux mode... The current CVS version will power down the LCD after some time to reduce the power drain. Note, the normal iPod firmware implements the "power off" as a suspend function so its not a true power off. cheers, bern.
