Hi Agnus, There are problems with the new v3 hardware. If you boot with the iPod powered it appears to somewhat work (the HDD is not detected) but if you disconnect the power it dies during startup. I'm still clutching at straws as to what the problem is as I don't have a v3 iPod (any one interested in donating one should feel free :). cheers, bern.
