Basically I just wrote some code to copy the firmware to the right
location in memory (its the same location as the kernel so you need to
make sure the kernel is shutdown e.g. interrupts off), then tried to
intialise the hardware back to the state its in after the Apple
bootloader. Then I jumped the CPU and COP to 0x28000000 ;)
The problem I had was that after the final jump there is no debug, so
when it failed there was no way to work out why. You then have to hard
reboot, wait for linux to boot then try again. It gets pretty
frustrating pretty quickly.
