I got this today after a week of testing. We did a domain name redirect
last night, could this actually be an http error? 301 is "permanently
moved", which would make sense.

Hey, so I've been trying to get iPodder to work on my computer, but I have yet to download a single feed. Here's the setup: Internet->ADSL Modem->Wireless Router->My Box I have about 4 feeds in iPodder set up but not a single one has ever downloaded a feed. In fact, I get the same error for all of them: Checking [site name] ... error connecting (getaddrinfo failed) This leads me to believe it is a router problem. But I fail to see how this could be, as (using all available brain cells I have) iPodder should be using port 80, and all other programs have no problems using port 80 (Skype, Opera, Firefox, IE, etc). Any help? for reference, the 4 feeds are iPodder News leoville.tv/podcasts/kfi www.2600.com/rss.xml feeds.feedburner.com/kfi (actually the same, in theory, as the leoville one) thanks. -- \Kyle Goetz BS Pure Mathematics, BA Japanese 2006 The University of Texas//Obirin University, Japan Using M2, Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/m2/ |

I just installed iPodder 1.1 and everytime it downloads a new podcast, it starts playing in iTunes. How do I stop it from doing that? |

Has anyone had any problems with downloading specific podcast feeds from itconversations? For example, the following feed does not work with = ipodder (latest CVS version): http://www.itconversations.com/rss/category-rss.php?k=3Dgillmoregang&e=3D= 1 One problem that I fixed, was adding the '=3D' character as one of the = safe characters in makesafeurl(). But, I am still having problems. One = thing I notice is that I don't see the message "That's hasn't changed since we = last checked." for the above feed. =20 --joubert=20 |
