It's nice that you have support for proxies, but any
Internet program needs to also support proxy auto
How I use proxy auto config files is that I do
everything on my laptop which goes between work and
home. They have a proxy at work and of course I don't
at home. I have a proxy auto config file that actually
resides on my laptop (using a FILE: URL) that checks my
IP address. If the IP is one from work then it says to
use the proxy otherwise it says use direct connect.
This works great with my browser and some other
programs. Since IPodder does not support proxy auto
config that means I have to manually change my proxy
setting when going from one to the other.
