same problem as described belo: podcast remains in "to download" state even after having downloaded 100%, uninstalling and reinstalling of the software does not help!
The same thing is happening to me on Jonathan Coulton's Thing a Week feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/thingaweek). The Log shows many instances of the following:
