Configuring the LAN interface can be problematic because every BMC seems to handle it differently. It may be that things need to be done in a certain order or with wait states between certain operations. In some cases when doing multiple lan setting changes in series the BMC is busy saving one setting and will get confused (or even crash) if other commands come in too quickly. I would try inserting a sleep between each call to "lan set" and see if that helps... -duncan |
