IPMAIL v2- Win32 Service Version

Note use a gmail address for IMAP
srvany and instsrv are from microsoft resource kit
Do what ever the hell you want with this.
tested windows xp and windows 7

Default install location: c:\windows\IPMAIL this can be changed
by modifying "set installDir=" in install.bat

Service Instructions

-install using install.bat
-to start and stop service:
-use the services snap-in

-or

"NET <start stop=""> IPMAIL"</start>

-to remove service use:

net stop IPMAIL
sc delete IPMAIL
sc delete srvany

-Delete "c:\windows\IPMAIL"

NON-SERVICE Instructions:

-Create IPMAIL.cfg using IPMAIL_CONFIG
You can create a shrotcut to IPMAIL.exe an place into startup directory
or
Create startup registry key pointing to IPMAIL.exe
*Note: Will not start before a user logs in.

Troubleshooting

-Make sure service starts
-Make sure you have IPMAIL.cfg in the same folder as the service, if not run IPMAIL_CONFIG.(exe or py)
-Make sure your email address has IMAP enabled (I would suggest using a gmail account and enableing it. google that)
-Make sure your internet is connected and that outgoing port 587 is not blocked
-Make sure your IP checking server link is working, if not, host your own using the php script.
