#22 Difference with Windows based and Linux based IPERF

We are having problems with slow throughput and are using IPERF for troubleshooting. I used WIN-2003 servers for my testing and windows based IPERF tool, where I can achieve throughput close to 8GBPS + and why only 3.2G while using Linux based Iperf tool. How could it be so?
