[Ipcheck-announce] SSL Support under Python2

Hi all,

Dyndns recently switched to apache2 with ssl from apache with
mod_ssl.  Python2 https now returns an exception when trying
to update against those webservers.  

If you are using Python version 1.5.x then you can ignore this
message.  There are no problems with https support.

If you are using Python2, I strongly urge you to upgrade to 
version 0.177 or greater at http://ipcheck.sourceforge.net/  
I've worked around the problem by using plain http for Python2.

When a solution for Python2 https against apache2 ssl becomes
available, I will update ipcheck and make another announcement
on the mailing list.

[Ipcheck-announce] ipcheck v0.157

I've made an important fix to ipcheck recently with regards
to error code 404 handling.  Please upgrade at your earliest
convenience.  If you find the new version and SSL are causing
problems, you can by pass SSL attempts with the -j option.

ipcheck.157 can also be found under the releases directory
for those setting up installers and packages.

Announcing ipcheck version 0.85

-various bug fixes with external ip detection on non-linux platforms
-more native support for NAT devices
-SNMP support 
-reorganized and cleaned up help text
-more informative logging 
-invalid header bug in versions before 0.71 

Versions older than 0.71 have a bug that is exposed by the Apache 1.3.19 
upgrade at Dyndns.  Updates will fail with an invalid header error message.

[Ipcheck-announce] new version
