IP.Board Version: v2.3.4 (I know it's old, but it's big and stable - not wanting to update it just yet)
MediaWiki: 1.18.3 (fresh install to a sub directory of the forum)
Will the files in the ipbwiki_for_ipb23.zip (IpbWiki 2.2.4) work with the latest MediaWiki (1.18.3)?

That's the theory. The original coder separated the wiki and IPB bits, so in theory you can benefit from any changes we've made to the wiki side of things for more recent compatibility, and it still should work against older IPB versions.
I'm guessing from your question you've not had it installed in the past, it's a fresh install not an upgrade?
If possible, it's probably worth trying on a test board, but let us know how you get on either way, any fixes shouldn't be too complex hopefully. Until we upgraded our board, we were on 2.3.4 and 1.11 I think, or thereabouts.

Yes, this would be a new install to both the IPB forum and the Media Wiki.
I'm just weary about installing something that may involve restoring backups if it doesn't work.
Is it easy to uninstall? Does it make changes to the database of the forum and the wiki?
