Hi, I hope I'm posting this in the correct forum. We just saw recently in invision power services forum that this new ipbwiki has been released and we were thrilled!
We are huge fans of the bridge, and had gotten hooked to using it tween our our forum darkmatters.org and our big game site sacredwiki.org
Our host had been hacked a few months ago, and we had to change a lot of the versions of php, and media wiki, and ended up having to pull out the IPBWiki in the process
:(
We miss it sorely, and are once again looking for excellent bridge solution, but are also looking for solution that can give possibility of two to three years time operation years.
One of the things we'd noticed with the original IPBWiki (we were paying yearly as contribution for it) was that it didn't come with an uninstaller
What kind of work could/ would we have to do if we had to remove IPBWiki?
Will an uninstaller come with this new add on?
Again, thanks so much to this team, I think Schot (Tech Admin from DarkMatters) has been in touch with some of the members of team for last few years, and this news of this product is exciting for us, and we're hoping to make use of it.
Thank you for your time!
:)

That you call me a jackass is something like a joke! You didn't reply to any topic or reported bug on that website for round about two months! Answers of several emails - nothing! I bought a new license for the website and paid the hosting just that the development of ipbwiki can go on. I think it's normal that I closed down the website because I didn't want to explain again and again that I didn't know what happens to your person and why there is no longer any support. And of course I didn't wanted that someone spend money for a donation (only to your person!!) in a project that isn't really supported.
And now after that fiasco I have to read such "nice things" written by you. Really cool man.

Just to add a rider to this query -- and first, thanks to all those who've kept the project alive! -- but does anyone know how well IPBWiki works with Mediawiki 1.23? I'd like to upgrade to that from 1.20, but I'm uncertain what (if any) issues may come from it.

I've posted in the help forum too, but I've just installed it all fine and now my wiki is just a blank page... Any idea what I need to edit to get it back to working order?

If you would liek me to take a look at the issue, i will need ftp info, to
source out the problem.

After the last fiasco trying to support the development of this app (see above) my hope for a working IPB+Wiki solution is that there comes a Vaultwiki version like there is for a couple of years for vBulletin and since not so long for XF. They have launched a Fundraiser now. Read more on their website: https://www.vaultwiki.org/articles/163/
Because of my experience with the vB version of Vaultwiki for now 6 years I think this is a project that's more than worth to support.

That website no longer functions. :( Is anyone actively developing something to bridge MediaWiki and Invision Power Board anymore?
I just upgraded my forum software to the latest (3.4.6) but am hesitant to upgrade the MediaWiki software because it might break the login.
I am semi-actively working on it, the person that used to host the website
for me is being a jackass so i cant provide support for people.

there arent any issues with 3.4.6 but depending o nthe host you are using
you might need to change a few things in your php.ini file.

Awesome, thank you for your response! Glad someone is still looking after this important bridge.
I think I might wait until IPB 4.0 comes out before upgrading the Wiki software!
sent you a message, im just doing what i can.
