the tutorial.html file is about 10 years out of date, and it references links (http://ion.ocp.ohiou.edu) that cannot be reached, LTP config example has 10,000 as the aggregation limit, whereas the description talks about 1000 as the limit. Updating this isn't critical but ought to be on a to-do list somewhere!

Should be able to do this before the 3.6.2 release date.
I am working on updated TCP configuration examples for the tutorial and can help with other changes as well.
Great! Let's make you the owner of this ticket.
Hi,
May I please, know the link to download the updated tutorial for ion-3.2.6.
Hi. The tutorial was so far out of date that it would have been of negative benefit to anyone trying to use it, so it was simply removed from the 3.6.2 release. An updated replacement tutorial is in work but is not yet complete. When it is ready I plan to do some sort of interim posting to the SourceForge site, in advance of the 3.6.3 release (targeted for summer, but likely to slip a couple of months), so that people can get to it immediately.

#123Hello Scott,
is there a project page somewhere where you can understand how to install a small DTN network on Raspberry Pi?
I try somehow to establish a DTN network, but all projects, hints have been around for some time. There are no tutorials.
You seem to be the only one who has been working on this since 2016.
I would like to deal with the subject, but because there are only snippets everywhere, I do not know where to start.
At the moment you are my only hope to build a first network with Raspberry Pi based on ION-DTN.
When I'm finished I'd like to do a simple step-by-step tutorial specifically for anyone who needs it.
Bjorn
Bjorn,
We are running ION on Raspberry Pi at Ohio University treating it like a standard Linux install using the standard:
./configure
make
sudo make install
Please try this and let us know if you are running into problems.
Patricia
Hi, Bjorn. We really need to get that tutorial updated. Until that happens, unfortunately your best bet is probably the Deployment Guide in the top-level directory of the ION download. I don't have any experience with the Pi platform myself; can you build on it, or do you have to cross-compile? If the former, the normal Linux installation (configure/make) may be all you need; if the latter, I'm afraid you will be trailblazing - though I know people have run ION on Raspberry Pi in the past, so it can't be totally mystifying.
If you are successful, we would enthusiastically welcome your step-by-step guide.
Scott
Ah, ok, thank you for the new stuff, now i will work with it.
Björn
New documentation is now on readthedocs.
