Hi Tim, That did the trick, sorry for missing that. I thought admin was important= :) I now get a different problem than before - which I hope you may be able to help with: the code: my $DSN =3D 'driver=3D{SQL Server};Server=3Dsome.server.dk; database=3Dsomeuser;uid=3Duser;pwd=3Dpwd;'; my $dbh =3D DBI->connect("dbi:-ODBC:$DSN") or die "$DBI::errstr\n"; and then I get this error: [Fri Jun 10 13:12:58 2005] DBI connect('driver=3D{SQL Server};Server=3Dsome.server.dk; database=3Ddbname;uid=3Dsomeuser;pwd=3Dpwd;','',...) failed: [iODBC][Driv= er Manager]Specified driver could not be loaded (SQL-IM003) [iODBC][Driver Manager]{SQL Server}: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory (SQL-00000)(DBD: db_login/SQLConnect err=3D-1) at /path/to/perl-script.pm Any ideas which .so it's complaining about? or how I could possible find that out?
