#3 long line lengths generated by pfc

The parametric fortran compiler (pfc) sometimes generates code with more than 132 characters per line. The GNU and ibm compilers can tolerate these long lines, but the Absoft compiler (v. 10) cannot compile a line longer than 132 characters.
