Maybe this distro will be my next favourite distro - finally.
Until now my favourite distro was a Tangostudio Debian Edition. It was a very stable, debian based distro (Wheezy). All maintenance was coming ONLY from a tangostudio repositories (plus official debian repository), which provided a safe and easy maintenance and upgrades (there was not a link to plenty Ubuntu repos !?!). Unfortunately, maintaining the distribution was stopped.
So, I am still looking for a best replacement for my Tangostudio distro, and io GNU/Linux is on the way to be to be a worthy replacement. I am looking for a debian-testing based rolling distro for audio recording.
Is there any customer support, user experience, because the forum is almost empty.
Existence of user manual will be just fine.
Cheers

Thanks for your interest and feedback :) looks like io GNU/Linux will fit your needs.
It's true that the forum is almost empty, I hope more people would come here to let a message, feedback, ideas, report bugs.. let's see ;)
I began a time ago to prepare a user manual... it's almost about dektop use (keyboard and mouse, windows management etc...).
I will try to improve it a bit.
PS, 2016.04 out... enjoy :D

When it comes to a Debian-testing based rolling distro for audio recording, I highly recommend checking out KXStudio. It's specifically designed for audio production, offering a stable environment and a wide range of powerful tools to enhance your recording experience. As for customer support and user experience, KXStudio has an active and supportive community that can provide valuable insights and assistance along the way. While their forum may currently seem quiet, don't let that discourage you—reach out with your questions and experiences sassa, and you'll likely discover a vibrant community eager to help. Additionally, you can find useful resources and user manuals on their official website, which will ease the learning curve and help you make the most of KXStudio's features. I hope KXStudio proves to be the perfect replacement you've been seeking, and I wish you the best of luck in your audio recording endeavors! Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need additional recommendations.

The link for "http://io.gnu.linux.free.fr/manual-en.html" appears to be broken :(
